SOARING

The skillion, flat or butterfly roof has, either by coincidence or fate, found it's way to the forefront of iconic Australian architecture. Like it or not it's a practical way shielding us from the elements without making too strong a reference to any historical form. It is derived from necessity and seems to express a uniquely Australian spirit.
